Choral and Instrumental Music Program

All Saints has a talented congregation. Our music program provides many opportunities for participation in vocal and/or instrumental groups. If you are interested in joining any of these groups, please call the church and ask for Doug Williams, Director of Music. Or send email to

Choir rehearsals resume on Wednesday, September 14 and Thursday, September 15, 2011. If you have musical talents, please plan now to join one or more of the following choirs at All Saints.

Adult Handbell Choir Thursdays, 6:15 - 7:30 pm Open to adults and high school youth Playing both handbells and handchimes, the Adult Handbell Choir rehearses weekly (September through May), ringing about once a month in worship. Music reading ability is desirable, though ringing experience is not necessary – we will teach you how to ring! For those unable to commit to regular participation, substitute ringers are always needed and scheduled ahead of time week by week.	Adult Vocal Choir View Schedule webpage Thursdays, 7:30 - 9:00 pm Open to adults and high school youth The Adult Choir rehearses weekly (September through May), singing about three times a month in worship, and also forms the core of the annual Cantata Choir. Short term or seasonal commitments to singing are welcome.

Praise Team (Vocal and Instrumental) Open to adults and high school youth. The Praise Team provides musical leadership for monthly contemporary worship. Rehearsals are on the Saturday prior to the Contemporary service, 10:00 am - Noon. Singers and instrumentalists are welcome at all times – speak to the Director of Music Ministries for more information.	Children's Choir (Vocal) Wednesdays, 4:15 – 5:00 pm Open to children age 4 (preschool) through Grade 3 Alleluia Choir rehearses weekly (September through May) and sings about once a month in worship. Rehearsal activities include singing songs, hymns and anthems, learning music reading skills, and playing Orff instruments and handchimes.

Please note: Confirmation Students will receive service hours for each of the youth choirs in which they participate. Even if you cannot commit yourself for the entire choir season (for example, because of fall sports), you are welcome to join one or more of these choirs for a shorter time.

If you're interested in enrolling your child/youth in any of the choirs, you may fill in the bulletin insert, sign up at the registration table in the Narthex after the services in late August and early September, or at one of the rehearsals.

In addition to the vocal and handbell choirs listed above, there are other opportunities for those who want to provide vocal and/or instrumental solo or ensemble music at Sunday and special services. It would also be helpful to have an accompanist for the children's and youth choirs, either on a regular basis or occasionally.
