Choral and Instrumental Music Program

All Saints has a talented congregation. Our music program provides many opportunities for participation in vocal and/or instrumental groups. If you are interested in joining any of these groups, please call the church and ask for Sue Falbo, Director of Music. Or send email to music@allsaintspalatine.org.

Choir rehearsals resume in September and October. If you have musical talents, please plan now to join one or more of the following choirs at All Saints.

Adult Handbell Choir Thursdays, 6:15-7:30pm, beginning September 7th Open to adults and high school youth We are always in need of substitute ringers - especially around the holidays. No experience or musical background is required. We will teach you how to ring!	Adult Vocal Choir Thursdays, 7:30-9:00pm, beginning September 7th Open to adults and high school youth If you cannot commit yourself for the entire choir season (September-May), join us for a shorter time, for example, for the Christmas Cantata. We're in dire need of tenors and basses!!

Praise Team (Vocal and Instrumental) Open to adults and high school youth. Provides leadership for monthly contemporary services. We especially need guitarists and a percussionist!! Rehearsals occur twice a month: On the Saturday prior to the Contemporary service, 10:00am-Noon. On the last Tuesday of each month, 7:30-9:00pm.	Children's Choir (Vocal) Alleluia is for children in grades K-2. Rehearsal on Thursdays, 4:15 - 5:00pm Includes singing, playing percussion, Orff instruments, and hand chimes. Ring and Sing is for grades 3-6. Rehearsal on Thursdays, 5:00 - 6:00pm. Includes singing, playing percussion, Orff instruments and introduction to hand bells.

Please note: Confirmation Students will receive service hours for each of the youth choirs in which they participate. Even if you cannot commit yourself for the entire choir season (for example, because of fall sports), you are welcome to join one or more of these choirs for a shorter time.

If you're interested in enrolling your child/youth in any of the choirs, you may fill in the bulletin insert, sign up at the registration table in the Narthex after the services on August 20 and 27, September 3 and 10, or at one of the rehearsals.

In addition to the vocal and handbell choirs listed above, there are other opportunities for those who want to provide vocal and/or instrumental solo or ensemble music at Sunday and special services. It would also be helpful to have an accompanist for the children's and youth choirs, either on a regular basis or occasionally.
