View the 2011-2012 Sunday School Schedule. Download the Sunday School Registration form here. Sunday School provides Christian education for children ages 3 and up through 5th grade. We gather together for Sunday School in the time between our Sunday worship services. The program begins on the first Sunday after Labor Day and ends on the last Sunday in May. We welcome each new church school year with a Rally Day celebration and blessing of backpacks. Our morning begins at 9:45 (unless otherwise noted) with an opening in the church. Children sit by grade level and experience God’s Word through singing. The opening usually lasts for about 15 minutes. Birthdays are celebrated during the opening time—those children who’ve had birthdays the week prior or on Sunday come to the front of the group. Children should bring pennies (or any coins) to count out the number of years they are turning. They then choose a prize from the “birthday box”. Children should also bring their offerings at this time. The Sunday School offering supports our missionaries abroad. After our opening, teachers lead their classes downstairs to the Sunday School classrooms where they deliver their lessons. Each week, Grades K through 3 hear a lesson relating to one of the readings presented in the church service, while Pre-K and 4th-grade hear a lesson relating to various Bible stories.Learning outcomes for each grade of our Sunday School program are as follows.
Our Sunday School Superintendent is Margo Ban; the co-superintendents of the Sunday School Music program are Susan Carlson and Lori Quinn . For more information about the Sunday School program at All Saints, please contact the church office.
