All Saints Lutheran Church

"Doing Faith/Practicing Love"
Our Lenten Theme

Come join us for some very special Lenten Services. Bring the whole family and invite friends for supper and services.

We are offering a new format this year for the Wednesdays in March. Following Holden Evening Prayer for our Order of Service, we will have an opportunity for Small Group Conversations (30-45 minutes), focusing on Jesus' Great Commandment, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with your soul, and with all your mind...and you shall love your neighbor as yourself."

We will provide child care during the time of the Service and Conversations. For Sunday School age children, we will have a separate "Conversations" group.

Suppers will be served beginning at 6:15pm on March 7, 14, 21, 28. A Seder meal will be held on April 4.

7:00pm - Holden Evening
              Prayer Service

Small Group Conversations follow the Services

Plan to participate in the Small Group Conversations which will use the study booklet, Doing Faith: Basic Practices for Growing Christians.

Child care will be provided during the services and small group conversations.

See below for complete schedule of Lenten events.

Please let us know that you and your family will be coming for supper. There will be reservation forms in the Sunday bulletin, or call the church office by the Monday before to make your reservation. A free-will donation will help defray supper costs.

The Holden Evening Prayer order of worship was prepared by liturgical composer Marty Haugen, who also composed our alternate Sunday liturgy, Now the Feast and Celebration. It is beautifully melodic. You'll find yourself humming it during the week.
